Founding Team - LLM research & Innovation Lead

As we’re building our founding team, we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of an exceptional journey with a strong team cohesion. We work primarily from the office to move fast together, while keeping occasional remote days possible when needed.

We’re hiring our first LLM Research & Innovation Lead to push the frontier of AI search technology through experimentation, prototyping, and rigorous benchmarking.

You will work directly with founders, Engineering, Product, and Marketing to uncover new model capabilities, run hands-on research, and turn breakthroughs into meaningful product opportunities, while strengthening GetMint’s external voice within the AI search community.

This role blends research, rapid prototyping, technical exploration, and public thought leadership. If you’re excited by LLMs, emerging architectures, agentic workflows, and fast-paced innovation cycles, this role is for you.

What you'll do

• Run deep experiments across major LLMs (OpenAI, Google AIO...)

• Study docs, release notes, papers, and APIs to map real model behavior.

• Build benchmarks, eval pipelines, datasets, and automated tests.

• Run visibility experiments to measure how different actions improve brand presence and business outcomes inside LLMs.

• Analyze outputs, identify patterns, and extract actionable insights.

• Turn findings into clear recommendations for Product & Engineering.

Bonus : share research publicly (talks, posts, blogs).

What we're looking for

5+ years working in SEO, AI Search, or a related technical domain

• Strong hands-on curiosity for LLMs: testing behaviors, reading releases critically, probing limits, spotting patterns.

• Excellent experimenter: clean protocols, reproducible tests, rigorous data analysis, hypothesis-driven approach.

• Deep awareness of current AI Search & SEO debates, constraints, and emerging trends.

• Ability to transform raw model outputs into clear, actionable insights for product decisions.

• Fast, sharp, autonomous execution with strong analytical discipline.

Bonus points

• Be able to Act as a public-facing voice for GetMint in the AI search and LLM community

• Established creator with a strong online presence (15k+ followers) and a track record building blogs, newsletters, or technical content channels.
