How to advertise in AI chatbots

ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini are where people ask questions. Only one of them sells a placement inside the chat. This page says what exists, and how Idlen reaches those users while they wait.

What you can buy inside the chat

OpenAI sells ChatGPT Ads. A sponsored card is shown with the ChatGPT answer, and it stays separate from the model's reply. Who sees those ads, and how the buy works, is on the ChatGPT Ads alternative page. OpenAI's product is at ads.openai.com.

Anthropic does not sell a public ad placement inside Claude. There is no Claude ads manager to fund.

Google does not sell a public ads product inside Gemini chat. Ads in Google Search or on YouTube are a different buy. They do not place a card in the Gemini conversation.

How Idlen reaches those users

People open ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini in the browser. The Chrome and Firefox extensions show one native ad while the model is writing. When the answer arrives, the ad goes away. It is not inserted into the answer.

The same wait exists in VS Code, including Cursor and Windsurf, and in apps that added the Idlen chat SDK. The audience is anyone using those tools, not only developers. People installed the extension themselves.

You choose CPM or CPC and you set the bid. A campaign can start from a €10 budget, with a daily cap and a frequency cap. Payment is Stripe, prepaid. There is no contract.

What this is not

Idlen is not a substitute for ChatGPT Ads if the only room you want is inside ChatGPT. It also does not sell a placement that Claude or Gemini do not offer.

If you want the wait, across those chats and in the editor, that is the Idlen buy. Some advertisers will run both.

Current scale

Over the 30 days to 30 October 2026, Idlen served 111,528 ad impressions to 2,366 active users. That is the size of the network on that date, not a forecast for a campaign.
